Katelyn Peterson
Founder and Director of Business Operations

Hello all, my name is Kaite Peterson and I am super excited to see where God takes us on The Schoolhouse journey.
I am a momma to 3 blessings, and enjoy farming with my husband. In addition to being a mom and wife, my heart lies in the education field and helping our next generation become the best they can be. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary education with an additional certification in Early Childhood.
Prior to this adventure I taught kindergarten for 9 years. I left public education knowing God was calling me to something better!
Stephanie Haglund
Founder and Director of Teachers/Curriculum

Stephanie is passionate about being a mother and wife, while running her home efficiently. She has homeschooled her daughters for the last 7 years, as well as working alongside her husband on their cattle ranch. Whether that be behind the scenes keeping the cattle paperwork straight, providing the meals for the rest of the family, or helping to gather cattle. Both Stephanie and her husband have a passion for raising their daughters up as the next generation in agriculture.
Stephanie has a bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in child development, always working in the education field before staying home and homeschooling her three girls. A large passion of Stephanie’s is teaching. She believes that the world is our classroom and there is so much life that needs to be learned, that can’t be taught in a book.
Some of her experience includes; ABA therapy with children that were diagnosed with autism, a director of a preschool, a director of a large after school program, being a homeschool mom and leading a classroom of children at church.
Some of Stephanie’s passions are gardening, canning, cooking from scratch, reading a good book, and teaching.

Sadie Durney
Kindergarten & 1st Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Sadie Durney and I am the kindergarten/1st grade teacher. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 10 years and am excited to be on this journey with The Schoolhouse!
I live on a beef farm with my husband and our 3 kids. I was blessed to be mama to our nephew from a very young age and he has given me the sweetest grand baby!
If you don’t find me at the ballpark watching my kids play sports or at the fairs showing their animals, you will find me at home, gardening, cooking and working the farm. Raising my children surrounded by family who share the same core values as my family, is very important to me and a big part of why we knew The Schoolhouse was right for us!
I cant wait to see what God has in store for The Schoolhouse this year!

Ashley Franck

Ashley’s journey to our school reflects a rich tapestry of experiences shaped by faith, family, and a passion for education.
As a wife and mother of three boys, Ashley has embraced the adventure of military life alongside her Air Force veteran husband. After living in nine different states over 18 years, they felt God’s call to settle in Missouri two years ago, where they now raise their sons amidst the natural beauty of the Show-Me state.
Ashley brings over 15 years of diverse teaching experience to The Schoolhouse. From homeschooling her own children, to leading Bible studies and teaching in various settings, she has cultivated a holistic approach to education that values both academic growth and character development.
When not in the classroom, Ashley enjoys outdoor activities with her family. She appreciates the natural surrounding of Missouri, often spending time hiking, camping, and observing wildlife.
Beyond education, Ashley is passionate about addiction recovery ministries and spreading God’s word. She aims to help others build a deep-rooted faith and find hope in Christ. Her goal is to be an offering to Christ, raising God-fearing men and serving the community in a way that demonstrates His love. She looks forward to this new chapter and the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students at The Schoolhouse.
